SOGI 123 PARENT INFORMATION SESSION
COPACS is pleased to host a virtual information session on the topic of SOGI 123 for parents/guardians, students, and staff of the Saanich School District. Leading this presentation will be Dutch, Regional Manager of SOGI 123 and Micha Oak from LGBTQ Corporate Training. The focus will be on understanding the role of SOGI 123 as a resource for education and how to be a good ally in our schools and community. In addition, topics such as 2SLGBTQ+ 101, what to say, what not to say, learning about where anti-SOGI pushback is coming from, and how to support our youth.
When: Wednesday May 8, 2024, 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

FREE PARENTING WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS & KINSHIP CAREVIGERS IN BC
The Parent Support Services Society of BC would like to invite all parents, guardians, and kinship caregivers in BC to participate in free, on-line parenting workshops. PAC VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Hot Lunches: If you have an hour of free time on hot lunch Friday’s (around 11am), we would love your help. We need volunteers to help sort food, deliver it to the classrooms, and tidy up afterwards. Sign-up can be found on the MunchaLunch website.

PAC YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISING
Please note that the following year-round fundraisers bring in money that goes back to the PAC. The funds raised go towards supporting our children by enhancing their experiences at Prospect Lake Elementary School.
GRADE 5 YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISER
Country Grocer
Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and bring them back to the school.
- There is a metal bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside the front desk that you / your child can place them into.
- Country Grocer provides a percentage back via gift cards from all receipts we return.
- The money raised from the sale of the gift cards helps support the current year's Grade 5 class with their costs to cover their year-end camp day.
