Hot Lunch Website
The Hot Lunch Website is up and running! Now is the time to register your child and family.
New and returning parents need to register their children every new school year.
Go to https://ples.hotlunches.net/admin/
Click the “register” button at the top right-hand corner to sign up.
Our school code is Prospect
Enter your name, email address and phone number then a user ID that you will use for access to the system. Enter a password and then enter it again to verify it’s correct. Once registered, you will be logged into the website. Please add your Prospect Lake students by clicking the “students” button below or the “profile” menu tab to proceed. Once the students have been added you will be able to place orders by clicking the “order” button below each child’s name. We’ll let you know when the first menu is up and ready.
We strongly encourage you to create an account as we will often use this system for other school events and fundraisers.
The online system is designed to create only one account per family. If you require a second account, please enter your user info then submit a support request.

PAC Meeting
Thank you to those who attended our first PAC meeting of the school year! We had a successful in-person and virtual meeting. Our meeting minutes can be found HERE and the treasurer's report HERE. Our next meeting is Tuesday October 26th. At this meeting we will discuss budgeting for the year as well as the teacher's wish list. We hope you will be able to join us in person or via Microsoft Teams.
Bottle Drive Success
Thank you to Desiree Davies for organizing and running the first bottle drive of the school year. Thank you to those of you who were able to support the school by bringing your bottles in, and to Shelly McIntyre, Wendy Bird, Jacquie Davis, Terri Archer and Carolyn Ensing for helping sort the donations. Our next bottle drive will be held on January 9th 2022.
Special Thanks
We would like to send out a very special thank you to Jordan and Brittney Crump of Crump Media and well as Jason Glendenning and Lindsay Davis from LMW LabelmakersWest. These amazing parents took Mrs. Russell’s idea, created a design, and printed one of a kind Prospect Lake Panther Stickers. In total, over 4,000 high quality stickers in 11 different designs were created and donated to the school. These stickers will be given out by the PAWS Squad during the year to students and staff to help mark and celebrate important dates.
Year-Round Fundraisers
Please help us raise funds for our children and school with these ongoing fundraisers:
- Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and your Canadian Tire money. Place them in the bin on Mrs. Blackwell’s desk
- If you shop at Cobb’s Bread, please mention Prospect Lake School before you pay. 5% of what you spend comes back to the school.
- If you shop at Peninsula Co-op or buy gas at Save on Gas, please quote membership number #79184
