Hello Families,
The classes will harvest food from the school garden on Wednesday, September 11 and have a tasting party on Friday, September 13. If you are able to help wash, prepare (maybe cook?) and serve some food on Friday, please contact Jenny Eastman at ferns1@telus.net
Also, many thanks to the families who watered the garden all summer and kept adding in plants so our kids had something to harvest. Thanks to these families: Pine, Taggart/Lee, Barnes, Fenwick, Thomas/McDonnell, Showler, Howarth, Snow, Johns. A very warm thanks to Grade 4/5 teacher Laurel Evans who also watered over the summer, took photos, added plants and kept us all inspired about our Outdoor Learning Spaces Project.
