HOT LUNCH TOMORROW - THIS WEEK'S LUNCH
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday May 10th, is the hot lunch provided by This Week's Lunch.
A few reminders for children participating in hot lunch:
- Please send your child with a nutritious snack and water bottle. It might be worthwhile sending a lunch kit with an ice pack to store any leftover food.
- All of the packaging needs to go home with your child. At Prospect Lake, we strive to provide children with litter less lunches, which means all packaging on hot lunch days needs to go home to be recycled and / or composted.
If your child is not participating in tomorrow's hot lunch program, please ensure you have discussed this with your child to help prevent disappointment.
PLEASE NOTE: If your child will be absent and you would prefer to pick up their hot lunch, you can claim it at the front desk BEFORE 3PM. If you would like a sibling to pick up an absent child's lunch, they can also claim it at the front desk. You do not need to email make alternate arrangements; all unclaimed meals will be left at the front office.
