SPRING ART CARDS
Tomorrow is the last day to order your child’s art cards; Monday April 22nd.

The spring prints offers lovely gift ideas; there are options to order cards, plaques, puzzles, and ornaments.

PAC MEETING
ALL parents and guardians are invited to join us on Tuesday April 23, 2024, for our Parent Advisory Committee meeting. The meeting is held at the school in the Learning Commons (aka. the library) or from the comfort of your home via Microsoft Teams. School doors open at 6:45pm, with the meeting from 7:00-8:30pm.
This is our final meeting before our Annual General Meeting in May. We welcome new and returning faces to our meetings, we always encourage everyone to come out and join us.
There are two door prizes available at the end of the meeting, a Mosi Gift Card and a RockCoast Confections Gift Card including toffee bark.
When joining us at school, please enter through the main front doors, sign in and proceed to the Learning Commons. Masking is optional and choices are respected.

CROSS COUNTRY MEET - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The school is looking for 2 more adult volunteers to help race marshal the upcoming cross country meet. Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far.

- Race Date: Wednesday May 1st, 2024
- Volunteer Time: 3:15-4:45pm (just before the race starts until it completes)
- Location: Centennial Park, 7526 Wallace Drive

- Volunteers report to the official's table upon arrival.
- Volunteers must stay at their designated post for the entire race.
- Race time: 3:30-4:30pm
- The race will run rain or shine.

SEEKING PAC EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

PAC VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Hot Lunches: If you have an hour of free time on hot lunch Friday’s (around 11am), we would love your help. We need volunteers to help sort food, deliver it to the classrooms, and tidy up afterwards. Sign-up can be found on the MunchaLunch website.

PAC YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISING
Please note that the following year-round fundraisers bring in money that goes back to the PAC. The funds raised go towards supporting our children by enhancing their experiences at Prospect Lake Elementary School.
GRADE 5 YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISER
Country Grocer
Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and bring them back to the school.
- There is a metal bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside the front desk that you / your child can place them into.
- Country Grocer provides a percentage back via gift cards from all receipts we return.
- The money raised from the sale of the gift cards helps support the current year's Grade 5 class with their costs to cover their year-end camp day.
