ART CARDS HAVE ARRIVED!
Art cards (and additional products) have arrived at the school. Over the next few days all cards will find their way home in your child's backpack. If you do not receive your order by the end of next week, please contact Heather at heatherhamilton200@gmail.com
HOT LUNCH TOMORROW!
Tomorrow, Friday November 17th, is the Pizza and Sushi hot lunch.
A few reminders for children participating in hot lunch:
- All of the pizza or sushi packaging needs to go home with your child. At Prospect Lake, we strive to provide children with litter less lunches, which means all packaging on hot lunch days needs to go home to be recycled and / or composted.
- You can recycle the pizza boxes, sushi container packaging, and the paper from the chopsticks.
- You can compost the chopsticks and napkins.
- Please send your child with a nutritious snack and water bottle. It might be worthwhile sending a lunch kit with an ice pack to store any leftover food.
If your child is not participating in tomorrow's hot lunch program, please ensure you have discussed this with your child to help prevent disappointment.
PLEASE NOTE: If your child will be absent and you would prefer to pick up their hot lunch, you can claim it at Mrs. Blackwell's desk BEFORE 3PM. If you would like a sibling to pick up an absent child's lunch, they can also claim it at Mrs. Blackwell's desk. You do not need to email Mrs. Blackwell or your child's teacher to make alternate arrangements; all unclaimed meals will be left at the front office.
