FAMILY GAMES NIGHT

There are only 4 spaces left to attend games night!

The staff from the Interactivity Board Game Café are coming to our school to run a games night!  ALL families in our school are invited to this FREE event.  Board games for ages 5 and up will be available for use.  Staff from the Board Game Café will be there throughout the evening to help facilitate games and answer any questions you may have.

Date: Friday October 6, 2023

Time:  7:00-8:00pm (4 spaces available)

Location: Prospect Lake Elementary School, Gymnasium

If your family is interested in attending, please sign-up HERE.  Sign-up is necessary to ensure we have enough games available for everyone.

HALLOWEEN HOWL

We are excited to invite all our PLES families to join us on Friday October 27th for our whole school dance.  Come in costume, have some dinner and treats, and dance the night away!

Time: 5:00-8:00pm

Location: Bayside Middle School Gym, 1101 Newton Place

For this event to occur, we need 3 volunteers to coordinate the main aspects of the dance:

  1. Dance Event Coordinator
  2. Food Coordinator
  3. Bake Sale Coordinator

Descriptions for each of these coordinator roles can be found HERE.  Please note, ALL coordinator roles can be shared!

To sign up for one of these roles, please sign-up HERE.

If we are unable to find volunteers to coordinate the aspects of the dance, then unfortunately the dance will be cancelled.

Volunteers are also needed for the night of the dance; help with set up and decorations, concession and bake sale set up, ticket sales, concession sales, bake sales, and clean up at the end of the night. Thank you to those parents that have already signed up to help!

Volunteers sign up can be found HERE

Your PAC Executive is happy to help answer any questions you may have.  Just send us an email: prospectlakepac@gmail.com

BOTTLE DRIVE

Save your empties!  Our first bottle drive of the school year is on Sunday October 22.  Please check your recycling, ask your friends, neighbours, and co-workers for donations – every bottle counts!  A complete list of acceptable returnable empties can be found HERE.  Last year we made $3100 with our bottle drives.  All funds raised go towards new opportunities for our children!

16 volunteers are needed to run the bottle drive.  Students accompanied by adults are welcome and encouraged to come and volunteer as well.  Volunteer shifts are 2hrs each with lots of time options available.  This is a great way to support the school, meet new people, and have some fun at the same time.

DATE: Sunday October 22nd, 2023

TIME: 10:00am-2:00pm

LOCATION: Prospect Lake Elementary School Parking Lot

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP: HERE
