PAC MEETING
We would like to invite all parents and guardians to join us this upcoming Tuesday, April 25 at 7:15pm. This meeting will be held in person at the school in the Learning Commons (library) or from the comfort of your home via Microsoft Teams (link below).
When you join us in person, please enter the school through the main front doors, sanitize your hands, sign in at Mrs. Blackwell’s desk.
Masking is optional, and choices are respected.
Please note the change in time: doors and MS Teams open at 7:00pm with the meeting starting promptly at 7:15pm. This is to accommodate the ROMS Inclusive Ed session that some grade 5 parents might be attending. April’s meeting agenda can be found HERE Parking is available in the upper lot at the school.

SPRING ART CARDS
All art card samples have been sent home with the children.
To order your child’s art cards or additional products, follow these three easy steps:
- Go to www.artcardsbykids.com and click on ORDER. All prices are indicated online. Please note, it is not recommended to use a cell phone to place your order.
- Enter the RED code on the back of your sample card. This is your child’s unique art code number.
- Enter and pay for your order online with a credit card. Visa, Mastercard, VisaDebit, and Discovery are all accepted. Ordering is available now through Thursday April 27th.

To order mixed packs of art cards, you can do so through the MunchaLunch System until Wednesday April 26th. The mixed packages are a pack of 8 different designs.

GROWING SMILES SPRING FLORAL FUNDRAISER
It’s
spring flower time!
Plants
are a great way to brighten and bring colour to your outdoor spaces. Help
support the Prospect Lake School by purchasing these wonderful hanging baskets,
flowers, veggies, or herbs.
Pick up will be May 11th and 12th.

STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCH
The staff appreciation lunch is a small way for us to show our appreciation to all the great staff at Prospect Lake school. This year’s lunch is scheduled for Tuesday May 9th. To have a successful meal, we need lots of help! Please sign up to bring food and / or assist with the event.
BOTTLE DRIVE
Thank you to everyone that came out to the bottle drive last weekend. We were able to raise $760.00 from all the donations. A huge thank you to Carolyn Ensing, Iris Scruton, Angela Formosa-Gray, Desiree Davies, Ivory Xi, Micaela Maftei, Kari Moore, Ioana Smirnov, Marie Garvin, Mikhail Smirnov, Sarah Angus, Dave Moore, Cobus De Klerk and Kelly De Klerk for volunteering your time to make our bottle drive successful.
YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISERS
Please help us raise funds for our children and school with these ongoing fundraisers:
- Please save your receipts from Country Grocer. Place them in the bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside Mrs. Blackwell’s desk. This fundraiser helps support our Grade 5 graduating class each year with their camp day and other special graduation activities.
