PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC) AGM
Our last PAC Meeting of the year will be on Tuesday May 24, 2022. We will host this meeting with two options available: (1) in person at the school in the Learning Commons (Library), or, (2) virtual through Microsoft Teams (link to come).
This meeting is also our Annual General Meeting where we will vote in new or returning executive members. We are seeking nominations for all positions. Nominations will be accepted up to the day of voting. Nominations are accepted at the meeting prior to the start of voting, provided the nominee has the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination. All advanced nominations should be sent to prospectlakepac@gmail.com
PROSPECT LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PAC EXECUTIVE POSITIONS:
President: Currently 1 nomination, open to more.
Vice President: Currently 0 nominations. Seeking nominations.
NOTE: The President and Vice-President roles can be shared between two people.
Secretary: Currently 1 nomination and seeking another to share the responsibilities.
Treasurer: Currently 1 nomination, open to more.
Communication and Correspondence Secretary: Currently 1 nomination, open to more.
COPACS Representative: Currently 0 nominations. Seeking nominations.
Members-at-Large: Currently 4 nominations, open to more. There are no limits on the number of Members-at-Large.

PARENT SOCIAL UPDATE!!
Only 2 more weeks until the social event of the year!! You can now pre-order your entrance tickets, casino money, and beer and wine tickets on the Hot Lunch website. Tickets will also be sold at the event, however, for planning purposes, it would be helpful if you could pre-order. Payment can be made through the site or at the door. Ticket amounts are as follows:
Entrance Ticket: $20.00 Includes: entry to the event, door prize draw ticket, $5,000 casino dollars, and what ever sample/donated food and beverages we can get!
$5,000 Casino Dollars: $10.00
$10,000 Casino Dollars: $15.00
Beer: $5.00
Wine: $6.00
Non-Alcoholic Drinks: $1.00
Casino games include Blackjack, Roulette, and Wheel of Fortune.
Doors will open at 6:30pm, casino games will be from 7:00-10:00pm with last call at 10:30pm. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening.
A number of parents have informed us that they are interested in informing the PLES community about their business. That said, we know there are more of you out there! Whether your business is big or small, you can use this opportunity to let other parents from our school know about it. From simply having business cards or a small poster up at the information table, to sponsoring a door prize or even something bigger, no business is too small or too big! Please connect with us soon if you’re interested, time is running out.
HOT LUNCH
The Hot Lunch website is open to receive your orders for our last two hot lunches of the school year.
1. Friday June 3, 2022 - Pizza Lunch
The last pizza lunch will be from Ali Baba pizza. Each large slice of pizza comes individually packaged in a box. There are no sides or drinks available to order to lessen the need for volunteers in the school.

2. Wednesday June 15, 2022 - Subway (Lunch to accompany Beach Day)
Let's make lunch for beach day as simple as possible by ordering your child their meal from Subway! Each lunch combo comes with a 6-inch sub, chocolate chip cookie and an apple juice box. Unfortunately, the supplier does not have a gluten free option available at this time; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
