Dear Prospect Lake Families,

 This afternoon, you will have received an email from our Superintendent, Dave Eberwein, with details about our Partial Return to In-School Instruction for  Saanich Schools  https://www.sd63.bc.ca/.   We look forward to welcoming back students on June 1st.

In preparing for our partial return, please note the following:

1.     Students will attend 2 days per week;
2.     The cohort days (Mon/Tues or Wed/Thurs) will be assigned alphabetically by the classroom teacher and with consideration to Health and Safety guidelines for school density and keeping siblings in the same cohort;
3.     Parents will know their specific schedule by Wednesday the 27th;

4.     Thank you for completing the parent survey indicating whether your child will be attending June1 – June 25.  If you have not yet responded, please complete the short survey   https://www.sd63.bc.ca/support-survey-complete to help us with our planning.

Any changes to your family plans, as indicated in the survey, need to be communicated directly to the school by 12:00 on Tuesday, May 26 (either to your child's Teacher or to Ms. Ko ako@saanichschools.ca), as only those families who indicate that they are returning will be placed in a cohort.

Our School Health and Safety team will continue to establish our safety plan and protocols in preparation for June. Over the course of next week, staff will receive on site safety orientations, parents will receive information regarding health checks, parent access to the school, pick up and drop off and other important information and students will continue with remote learning (May 25-29).  Thank you for your patience and your ongoing partnership as we navigate a safe return to school June 1.

With gratitude,

Ms. Ko and Ms. Lail
