SCHOOL NEWS...

School Information & Individual Student Packages:  Please check your child’s backpack for information and forms that will be coming home for your review and signature either today or Monday.  Signed Individual Student Packages are DUE to your child’s classroom teacher by September 17th.

Students with Life Threatening Conditions:  If you have a student with a life threatening medical condition, please ensure that you check in with the school office to either collect the necessary Medical Alert forms or to insure all your child’s Medical Alert forms on file are correct.

The Power of Why (A Blog by the Superintendent of Saanich Schools):  Mondays are Better Than Thursdays – Who Knew?

Reminders for Parents:

    Parking Lot Safety:

Crosswalks: Please have students use the cross walk when crossing the parking lot during the busy morning drop off and afterschool pick up.

Drop off Lane: Please pull up to the cross walk, students to exit from passenger side quickly and use the crosswalk. Please avoid stopping part way in the lane as it congests traffic on the road.

Parking: Our parking lots are extremely busy in the morning and pick up. Please park in designated spots and be mindful of keeping walkways and crosswalks clear. You may consider parking at WhiteHead Park or Prospect Lake hall and walking to the school.

Reporting of Student Absences:  A friendly reminder for families to ensure that you contact the school Safe Arrival Line at 250-727-9993 if your child will be absent from school. This is a huge help to the Safe Arrival Parent Volunteers.   Thank you!
