PAC News
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) would like to welcome families to another great year at Prospect Lake Elementary School! Our school continues to grow and we want to welcome all 249 students to the new school year! You can reach us at our new email address: prospectlakepac@gmail.com
Hot Lunch
Our first Hot Lunch Day will be held on Friday, September 28. The deadline to order your child's first hot lunch is Monday, September 17. Please note that new and returning families will need to create a new online account. Please don't wait to order as we cannot accept late orders.
1. Go to ples.hotlunches.net
2. Click the "register" button at the top right hand corner to sign up.
3. Our school code is PLHL
4. Enter your name, email address and phone number, then a user ID that you will use for access to the system. Enter a password and then enter it again to verify it's correct.
5. Once registered, you will be logged into the website.
6. Please add your Prospect Lake students by clicking the "students" button below or the "profile" menu tab in order to proceed. Once the students have been added you will be able to place orders by clicking the "order" button below each child's name.
Even if you don't intend to order hot lunches we strongly encourage everyone to create an account as we'll be using the site for other fundraisers, events and volunteer opportunities.
First PAC Meeting
As a parent/legal guardian of a child at Prospect Lake Elementary you are automatically a voting member of the Prospect Lake PAC. You can play a very important role in your child's school experience by becoming involved, volunteering, and attending monthly PAC meetings. Our first PAC meeting is Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 pm at the school library. You can have a look at our AGENDA and the MEETING MINUTES from the last meeting in May. We welcome everyone from 6:45pm for snacks and tea. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
Open House/Corn Roast
We hope to see everyone at the Open House/Corn Roast on the evening of Thursday, September 20th from 5:00-6:30pm. This is not only a fun event, but also a great opportunity to meet other school families and mingle with school staff. Bring a picnic dinner and our lovely school staff will provide the corn. The PAC will be offering tea and coffee.
Volunteering
Your help makes a huge difference. Regardless of how small or large your involvement may be, it all benefits our school community. There are many ways to be a part of your child's school experience. We welcome parents, grandparents and guardians to help. Please go to ples.hotlunches.net. Go
