Dear Prospect Lake families,

Over the next few weeks in French class, your children will be learning about the French-Canadian culture, including the wonderful festivals, celebrations and traditions that are a part of it.  As a part of the unit, we will hold a small celebration of our own!

On Thursday, May 19th, each class will join their buddy class in learning how to play les cuillères (musical spoons) and eating the traditional queues de castors or beaver tails that are enjoyed at many francophone cultural events across Canada.  For those who have allergies against nuts, dairy or gluten, apple slices with cinnamon and sugar will be offered.  Feel free to email me at rtate@sd63.bc.ca with questions or concerns.

Merci beaucoup!

Mme Tate
