Monday, October 26: DEAR (Drop Everything and Read!) Day - Everyone in our school will have the opportunity to take a short break from busy schedules to read in celebration of BC School Libraries/Learning Commons, literacy and learning. Family members are welcome to come and read with their children from 8:40 am - 9:10 am.
Friday, October 30: Whole School Goldstream Field Trip. The PAC will serve hot chocolate and hot dogs/veggie dogs.

School Forms: If you haven’t already, please send in your school form packet as soon as possible!
QSP Magazine Fundraiser: Get your magazine orders in by next Monday October 26th to qualify for the $25 Timeless Toys Gift Certificate prize. Take some time this weekend to check out the over 500 Magazines that QSP offers and order online or fill out the order form and turn it in on Monday. Our PAC will receive approximately $10 for each magazine ordered which will go to support more resources and activities for our kids.

To order by check please fill out the order form and make your cheque payable to PLES PAC .
You can also forward that link to all your family and friends and when they order your child will get credit. Magazines make a great holiday gift for those on your list! This will be a year long fundraiser so you may order at any time but your child will not qualify for the prize if you order after October 26th.
School clothing: Be on the lookout for an order form for great Prospect Lake School clothing items (shirts, hoodies etc.) These make great holiday gifts!
Order forms: We’ve had a number of misplaced order forms and cheques. Please use a sealed envelope to send in cash or cheques with your order forms. We would GREATLY appreciate it. You may find a box of inexpensive envelopes at any dollar store.
Volunteers Needed:
Safe Arrival/Morning Watch – a few mornings a month for 45 mins.
Sports Equipment Room – Two people needed to sort playground and PE equipment and minor repair as needed
Country Grocer Receipts: Don’t forget to save your Country Grocer Receipts and turn them in to Mrs. Blackwell at the front desk. A percentage of the sale is donated to our school. This is FREE money!
