Chapters Indigo has a charity called Love of Reading which raises money to give huge life-changing grants to a few elementary schools in Canada every year. The money is meant to put books everywhere in the school. For three weeks of the year, each individual Chapters/Coles store picks a school to "adopt" and all the money they raise in Love of Reading during that period goes to that specific school.
Starting on September 20 and continuing until October 1, Chapters on Douglas St and Coles at Tillicum Mall are adopting Prospect Lake!! That's us!! So, during that time, any money collected for Love of Reading will go to us so we can totally refresh the library. Last year over $7000 was raised for George Jay Elementary, and I know we can do it again! So parents, make your lists and go to Chapters on Douglas or Coles at Tillicum Mall and support the Prospect library.
