Reminders for Friday, May 29

Help Needed - School Garden Watering for Summer:

We need a few families who can visit the school over the summer to water and harvest the garden. This involves two visits a week and usually one family takes a week. Watering takes about 30 minutes per session – morning or evening are best. If your family can help, please contact Sarah Howarth at 250-727-7006 or apollosimba@hotmail.com. Prior to the end of June there will a short orientation meeting for the teachers and families who will be involved.

Mark Your Calendars:

Wednesday, June 3 - Friday, June 5: The grade five students will be at Camp Thunderbird

Thursday, June 11: Track Meet at UVic for Grade 3, 4, 5 students

On the morning of the Meet students will be transported by bus to the stadium at Uvic. However, parents are required to pick their children up at the Stadium or arrange for their transportation home when the Meet ends. Families are encouraged to come to Uvic and cheer for our students or to be at the Stadium by 1:30 to pick up their children.

The sale will begin at 8:40 and continue all day.
