Weekly Reminders

  • Hot Lunch: Friday, November 28. Red Barn food. Yum!

  • Poinsettia Order Pick Up: Wednesday, December 3, 2- 6 pm. Pick up your poinsettia, wreath and planter orders in the gym. A limited number of extra poinsettias will be available for purchase.

    Panorama Skating: Tuesday, December 9. Whole school event, bus transportation provided for students. Families welcome to join in with the skating.

  • Winter Basket Raffle: Please consider sending in a small contribution (money or item) from each student in your family toward our raffle baskets. Boxes for donations are in each classroom. Items due Tuesday, December 9.

    • Toys & Games (ideas: Lego, Playmobil, games, craft supplies)

    • Sweet Indulgence (ideas: chocolates, candies, cookies)

    • Holiday Survival (ideas: wrapping paper & supplies, cookies cutters, bows candles, ornaments)

  • Purdy’s Order Pick up/or sent home with students: Wednesday, December 10.

  • Whole School Craft Afternoon: Thursday, December 11. Family volunteers needed, check with your child’s teacher.

  • Winter Holiday Concert: Wednesday, December 17 at 1:00 and 6:00 PM.. Entry by donation to “Santa’s Anonymous”. Basket raffle tickets for sale: 1 for $2.00, 3 for $5.00, 8 for $10.00. Cash or cheque.

  • Whole School Gingerbread House Making: Thursday, December 18. Children will need to bring in a small bag of candy or something sweet for sharing in decorating the Houses. All sweets will be shared between all children in the class. Parent volunteers needed. 

  •  Bikes for Kids: Russ Hays Bike Shop "Elves" are gearing up to work again this year. They are calling on the community to help with a great cause. If you have a gently used children's bike you would like to donate, Russ Hay's staff will refurbish it and give to a child in need. Last year they received 120 bikes. Russ Hays will pick up from Prospect Lake if we have more than five bikes to donate. If you have something to contribute, please email Jamie jldisbrow@shaw.ca so we can plan our donation. Bikes may be dropped at the school on December 2 or 3.
