BOTTLE DRIVE THIS SUNDAY
We encourage all PLES families to come by this Sunday to drop off your empty beverage containers. Please check your recycling, ask your family, friends, neighbours, and co-workers for donations – every bottle counts. Let’s see if we can collect enough donations to make $1,000 to put towards our children’s educational experiences!

SPRING ART CARDS
Spring art card samples will go home with students today. If your child does not bring a sample art card home, please contact Heather at heatherhamilton200@gmail.com

The order deadline is Monday April 22nd.
The spring prints offers lovely gift ideas; there are options to order cards, plaques, puzzles, and ornaments.
Delivery will be through the children when orders arrive at the school. To order, click HERE.
SEEKING PAC EXECUTIVE MEMBERS
The 2024-2025 PAC Executive is looking for parents / guardians to fill the following vacant roles: President, Vice President, Secretary, Communications, COPACS Representative, and Members at Large. Each of these roles can be shared. Further detailed information about each role can be found HERE, Section VII, in our PLES PAC Constitution. PAC VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Hot Lunches: If you have an hour of free time on hot lunch Friday’s (around 11am), we would love your help. We need volunteers to help sort food, deliver it to the classrooms, and tidy up afterwards. Sign-up can be found on the MunchaLunch website.

PAC YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISING
Please note that the following year-round fundraisers bring in money that goes back to the PAC. The funds raised go towards supporting our children by enhancing their experiences at Prospect Lake Elementary School.
GRADE 5 YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISER
Country Grocer
Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and bring them back to the school.
- There is a metal bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside the front desk that you / your child can place them into.
- Country Grocer provides a percentage back via gift cards from all receipts we return.
- The money raised from the sale of the gift cards helps support the current year's Grade 5 class with their costs to cover their year-end camp day.
