WINTER CENTERPIECE CARE & DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS

Your child will have brought home their one-of-a-kind centerpiece this week.  These beautiful creations can last you quite a while with a little care: water daily, keep out of direct sunlight, remove any flowers/greens as they die.  A few quick tips for disposal of your centerpiece: the flowers and greenery can be composted, the green oasis (the water sponge) and the tape need to be put in the garbage.  We would love to attempt to do this activity again next year.  If you can return the green plastic base and decorations, we can store them away to be reused in December 2024. There will be a container near Mrs. Blackwell’s desk for returns after the winter break.

THANK YOU!!

The PAC would like to send out a HUGE thank you to our Prospect Lake School community for their generous donations for the centerpiece activity.  We would also like to thank the following parents who helped with all the prep work for the centerpieces.  Thank you: Natasha Crawford, Yvonne Hendry, Angela, Christie Wilson, Lindsay Davis, Liz, Pallavi Murthy, Pia, Suzanne Lim, Wendy Bird, Jessica Dalton, Kailyn Sherk, Erin Egan, Tracy Michaels, Corinne Bobb, Dave Van Zan, Jayna Brulotte, Kari Moore, Katrina Richmond, Micaela Maftei, Michelle McNally, Sheri Ramsy, Francesca, and Krista.

From Mr. Stewart, “Thank you to all those that have put in time for the students to do this activity. They LOVE their creations, and this does not happen without parent help. Your efforts are appreciated.”

PURDY’S CHOCOLATES HAVE ARRIVED!

If you participated in our sweetest fundraiser of the year, then your chocolates came home today with your child.  For those of you that requested pick up, Paula will be in touch with you.  Thank you to everyone that participated in this fundraiser, we made approximately $1,365.00 from everyone’s orders!  If you have any questions, you can reach Paula at phesje@gmail.com

LOST & FOUND

The lost and found is FULL!  Please ask your child to take a moment to look through the clothing rack and the bins to see if any of the items belong to them.  The lost and found will be available for viewing on the evenings of the winter concerts.  After December 23rd, any unclaimed items will be donated.
