HOT LUNCH TOMORROW!
Tomorrow, Friday November 3rd, is the Subway hot lunch.
A few reminders for students participating in the Subway hot lunch:
- All Subway packaging needs to go home with your child. At Prospect Lake, we strive to provide children with litter-less lunches, which means all packaging on hot lunch days needs to go home to be recycled and / or composted.
- You can recycle the following items: Subway cups, sandwich paper, bags, salad bowls and lids through the appropriate recycling facility (CRD at the curb or Hartland Recycling).
- You can compost the following items: Subway napkins and sandwich paper.
- All juice boxes can be saved for future PLES bottle drives or returned to a Return-It-Depot nearest you (paper straws are compostable and the plastic straw wrapping paper can be recycled through the recycling program at Harland).
Please send your child a nutritious snack and water bottle.
If your family is not participating in tomorrow's hot lunch program, please ensure you have discussed this with your child to help prevent disappointment.
PLEASE NOTE: If your child will be absent and you would prefer to pick up their hot lunch, you can claim it at Mrs. Blackwell's desk BEFORE 3PM. If you would like a sibling to pick up an absent child's lunch, they can also claim it at Mrs. Blackwell's desk. You do not need to email Mrs. Blackwell or your child's teacher to make alternate arrangements; all unclaimed meals will be left at the front office.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday
November 3rd, is the last day to order popcorn for November.
Popcorn will be delivered at the end of the day on Friday November 24th to go home in students’ backpacks.
Orders can be placed through MunchaLunch.
Flavours available are Buttersalt and White Cheddar. Bags are $2.75 each.
