PAC
MEETING
We would like to invite all parents and guardians to join us this Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00pm for our monthly PAC meeting. In this meeting we will be discussing and voting on the annual budget, including the Staff Wish List. Meetings are held in person at the school in the Learning Commons (library). When you join us, please enter the school through the main front doors, sanitize your hands, sign in at Mrs. Blackwell’s desk and proceed directly to the Learning Commons. Masking is optional and choices are respected. Doors open at 6:45pm with the meeting starting promptly at 7:00pm. October’s meeting agenda can be found HERE. *Parking is available at the school!!*
HALLOWEEN HOWL SCHOOL DANCE UPDATES
Only one week remaining until our school dance!!
We look forward to the return of the Halloween Howl dance. For new families to the school, and for those families that have never had the experience to attend the dance, it is a fun filled family event that is loved by all. Our DJ is awesome and provides great entertainment for everyone. The students enjoy seeing their friends in costumes, dancing together, devouring delicious foods and baked goods, and getting all their sillies out.
TICKETS: The MunchaLunch website is available for pre-sale ticket purchasing until Thursday October 27th. Tickets will also be available for cash purchase at the venue on the day of the dance at the ticket table.
BAKE SALE GOODIES NEEDED: Do you love to bake? We are in need of volunteers to whip up some tasty treats for our bake sale table. Sign up is available HERE. All bake sale items will need to be dropped off at the Prospect Lake Hall on Friday October 28th either between 8:10-8:45am or 2:30-3:15pm OR at the Bayside Middle School Gym from 3:00-5:00pm. Please ensure your container/plate is labeled with contact information and include if your item contains nuts, dairy, or if it is gluten free. We thank you in advance for your help!
LOCATION CLARIFICATION: Our whole school family dance will be held at Bayside Middle School Gym to accommodate our school population. This dance is only for the students and families that attend Prospect Lake Elementary School.
GRADE
5 REPS
We are looking for 2 additional parents / guardians to be the Grade 5 class representatives. The Grade 5 Rep(s) are responsible for all communications between the Grade 5 students and families only; not the specific classes. Duties include: liaising with parents and school staff for grade 5 specific events and activities (ie. Grad clothing, the grade 5 class trip, graduation, and fundraising events). ATTENTION GRADE 5 PARENTS
If you would like to be added to the Grade 5 contact list, please email wendy_bird@outlook.com and provide the following information: your name, email, and your child's name.
Emails will be sent out to all Grade 5 families (BCC’d so
addresses are not shared) regarding any and all Grade 5 events. This
could be fundraising activities, Grad wear, Grade 5 camp day, the yearbook,
graduation and more.

- Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and your Canadian Tire money. Place them in the bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside Mrs. Blackwell’s desk
