There is NO access or parking at the school for drop off and pick ups until further notice.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS:

1. Shuttle - to/from Prospect Lake Community Center (no registration needed):

  • AM shuttle begins at 8:10 until 8:50 or until all students are transported
  • PM shuttle begins at 2:48 until 3:10 or until all students are transported.

2. School bus - *** you must be registered to ride the bus***

If you have not registered to use the school bus service click following link  - Transportation | Saanich Schools.  Please communicate with your child which afternoon bus they will be riding #16 or #21

NOTE:  On Tuesday September 6, the shuttle will run from 10:15 until 10:35 or until all students are transported. Buses will also run to accommodate the early dismissal.

3. Walk OR bike - accompanied by an adult (with caution as there is active construction)

For further details on the return to school plan, please see the Prospect Lake Elementary School website.

BOTTLE DRIVE

Call your friends, ask your neighbours, check your recycling!  Sunday September 18th, from 10:00am-2:00pm, we are hosting our first bottle drive of the year.  A complete list of all acceptable beverage containers can be found HERE.

Please note, due to construction, the bottle drive will be held at the Prospect Lake Community Hall.  All funds raised go towards providing new opportunities for our children; every bottles counts!

We are still in need of volunteers. Students accompanied by an adult are welcome to volunteer as well!  Volunteer sign up can be found HERE.

HOT LUNCH

This year we will be using a new program for our hot lunches.  Please stay tuned for further details including how to register.  A complete list of hot lunch dates and meal options will also be available soon.

PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL (PAC) MEETING

We would like to invite all parents and guardians to join us on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:00pm for our first PAC meeting of the year.  Meetings will be held in person at the school in the Learning Commons (library).  When you join us, please enter the school through the main front doors, sanitize your hands, sign in at Mrs. Blackwell’s desk and proceed directly to the Learning Commons.  Masking is optional.  Doors open at 6:45pm with the meeting starting promptly at 7:00pm.
