FUNDRAISERS
1. Bottle Drive – Sunday April 24, 2022
The next bottle drive is scheduled for THIS Sunday, April 24th from 10am-2pm. Please tell your family, friends, neighbours, etc. Pop on by with all your empty beverage containers. For a complete list of approved containers, please check out this link to the Return-It website.
2. Spring Art Cards
Art card samples have gone home with students.
Instructions for ordering your own child's art cards can be found in the inside of the card.
If you are interested in a mixed pack of 8 cards, please go onto the Hot Lunch Website and order from there.
Order deadline is Monday April 25.
If you don’t receive your child's sample card, please email the PAC at prospectlakepac@gmail.com and we will look into it.
If your child was not at school the first week after spring break or were only there part of the week they may not have had the opportunity to make a card as we were on a very tight timeline.

3. Hot Lunch
We will once again be offering packaged Subway meal combos! Each combo comes with a 6-inch sub, chocolate chip cookie and an apple juice box. Unfortunately, the supplier does not have a gluten free option available at this time; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Orders can be placed on the Hot Lunch Website

4. Spring Flowers
Thank you to everyone that ordered spring flowers! Remember, flower pick up is this week!
Pick Up Dates: Tuesday April 26 and Wednesday April 27

PAC MEETING & AGM
Thank you to everyone that attended last nights PAC meeting. Our meeting minutes will be out in next weeks reminders.
Our last PAC Meeting of the year will be next month on Tuesday May 24, 2022. This meeting is also our AGM where we will vote in new and/or returning executive members. Please stay tuned for a detailed list of executive positions and nominations.
SAVE THE
DATE – PARENT SOCIAL!!
On Friday May 27, 2022, we are hosting a fun social evening for all PLES parents at the Prospect Lake Hall. We are planning a small casino night at which we can showcase some of the Prospect Lake Elementary School family businesses.
More details to come as we finalize plans for this event. There will be food, drinks, and the opportunity to socialize and play some casino games.
If you have a business that you would like other members of the school community to know about, please contact Carolyn or Jacquie at prospectlakepac@gmail.com and we would be happy to discuss how to make this happen. There are so many interesting businesses, both big and small, that many people don’t realize have a school connection.

- Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and your Canadian Tire money. Place them in the bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside Mrs. Blackwell’s desk
