4. Bottle Drive – Sunday April 24, 2022

The next bottle drive is scheduled for Sunday April 24th from 10am-2pm.   Please save your empty beverage bottles, cans, cartons, plastic containers and “ready to drink” milk and plant-based beverage containers (milk jugs and almond milk cartons etc.)

We Need Your Help!!

In order to run this fundraiser, we need 7 more volunteers to help with the sorting. It will only take a couple of hours and students are welcome to help alongside their parent as well. Please sign up at https://signupschedule.com/plespac  to help ensure we have enough people throughout the day.  This is a great way to meet other parents and have fun while helping raise funds for our children!  Please note, if we do not have enough volunteers this fundraiser will be cancelled.

Thank you to everyone that has volunteered so far!!

5. Purdy’s Chocolates

Thank you to everyone who participated in the spring chocolates order.  Your support is greatly appreciated!

SAVE THE DATE – PARENT SOCIAL!!

On Friday May 27, 2022, we will host a fun evening event for all PLES parents at the Prospect Lake Hall! We are still in the very early stages of planning.  More details will come as we develop plans for the event.  If you are interested in volunteering on the planning committee, please contact Carolyn or Jacquie at prospectlakepac@gmail.com

VOLUNTEER’S NEEDED

Thank you to the families that have already signed up to volunteer!  The school still needs 2 more parent volunteers to help marshal and cheer on the runners at an upcoming cross country meet on May 10, 2022 at Centennial Park from 3:15-4:45pm.  Volunteers will stand along the race course to ensure the runners stay on track while cheering them on and giving encouragement.

Volunteers can sign up here: https://signupschedule.com/plespac

FINAL FREE PARENT EDUCATION WORKSHOP *REGISTER SOON*

Please join Dr. Allison Rees in her last virtual workshop of the series.

Boundaries: Hidden Patterns, Building Resilience and Boundaries – Thur. April 28, 2022, 7:00-9:00pm

Maintaining healthy boundaries and relationships. It’s important not only to respect children’s boundaries, it’s also essential to set our own firm boundaries for our children. In this workshop we will talk about those invisible lines around responsibility and relationships. When parents gain clarity of boundaries, the guesswork is taken out of parenting and setting limits.

To register, please contact the Keating PAC at keating.pac@gmail.com
