FUNDRAISERS
1. PLES Clothing Orders
Unfortunately we are still awaiting news from the company. When we receive an update, we will send it along.
2. Hullabaloo Coffee & Ice Cream
To give back to the community, Hullabaloo Coffee & Ice Cream has generously offered to give "10% Back to the PAC”.
When you make a purchase at Hullabaloo Coffee & Ice Cream during the month of December, simply say that you are a Prospect Lake parent/family/friend/alumni/etc. and 10% of your purchase will automatically be donated back to the PAC.
Who is Hullabaloo Coffee & Ice Cream? Hullabaloo is a coffee and ice cream food truck located at 5550 West Saanich Rd (at the Red Barn), offering delicious espresso-based drinks (holiday drinks too - Gingerbread Lattes, Eggnog Lattes, Peppermint Mochas, and Hedgehog Lattes!), pastries, ice cream, fresh pressed lemonade, and even Puppuccinos for your four-legged family members too!
JANUARY PARENTING WORKSHOP
There is still space available for January’s Parenting Workshop with Dr. Allison Rees.
Topic: Sidestepping the Power Struggle
Taking the guesswork out of many parenting concerns. In this workshop we focus on practical solutions to questions like "Do consequences work, if so when and how?", "How do we get kids to take responsibility?", "How do we get out of the negative relationship patterns like nagging and power struggles?" Great information for parents with children of any age.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
We would like to send out a HUGE thank you to Natasha Crawford, Jacquie Davis, Carolyn Ensing, Yvonne Hendry, Terri Archer, Lindsay Davis, Shelly McIntyre, Desiree Davies, Angela Formosa-Gray, Christie Wilson, Rebecca Wild, Kari Moore, and Wendy Bird for all their help preparing the winter centerpiece activity.
CENTERPIECE CARE TIPS
Your centerpieces should be watered every few days. Just add some water to the bowl for the oasis to soak up. This will help keep your flowers and greens hydrated. At the end of the season, your greens and flowers can be composted, the décor and bowl saved for next year, and the oasis can be tossed into the garbage (*it is not compostable).
YEAR-ROUND FUNDRAISERS
Please help us raise funds for our children and school with these ongoing fundraisers:
- Please save your receipts from Country Grocer and your Canadian Tire money. Place them in the bucket on top of the wooden PAC mailbox beside Mrs. Blackwell’s desk
- If you shop at Cobb’s Bread, please mention Prospect Lake School before you pay. 5% of what you spend comes back to the school.
- If you shop at Peninsula Co-op or buy gas at Save on Gas, please quote membership number #79184
Please make sure to thank these local businesses for the support they provide our school.
