On Nov 10 our staff and students
will assemble for our annual school Remembrance Day assembly which will be held
virtually. This is an important opportunity
to show gratitude for our safe and caring community and the country we live in. We take time to remember our veterans and current
members of our forces for their service and contributions to Canada and other
nations. We acknowledge that the
assembly takes place on the traditional territory of the WSANEC people who have
lived on this land since time and memorial and we acknowledge that Nov 8 was National
Indigenous Veterans Day.
We thank our students who showed great respect during our school video and to staff for their ideas and teaching about the importance of Remembrance Day.
With gratitude,
Ms. Anita Ko and Ms. Sat Lail
