GENERAL REMINDERS AND MORNING WALKERS

We are very much missing our Prospect Lake Families and being together. We have to persevere a bit longer…we can do this! We thank our families for their support of quick drop off and pickups at the assigned times and avoiding congregating on school grounds and surrounding fields after school.  Our playgrounds and nature spaces remain closed after school. We encourage adults to wear masks if they are on the school grounds.

Staff are continuing to work within the PHO orders during the school day and are hoping to decrease the density on the school grounds at pick up and drop off.  Some ways to support this includes

  • Arriving close to drop off and pick up time to support the staggered times
  • Encouraging your child to independently head to the drop off areas in the morning
  • Introducing your kindergartener /grade 1 to the Morning walkers if needed

Beginning this week, we have some very eager Gr 4/5 Morning walkers available located at three locations; the crosswalk (for car drop offs), at the tennis court side of the school and on the blacktop to help any kindergarteners or grade ones to their designated areas. They will have masks on and can be identified with blue jackets or vests.

We appreciate the ongoing effort and support in keeping our students and staff feeling safe.
