PAC Meeting

We look forward to welcoming you all to our first PAC meeting of the year on Thursday, January 21st. For those of you that have not attended a meeting this year or with us at all, and would like to, we have provided you with some information below as to how to access our virtual Microsoft Teams meetings.
1. First, decide if you’d like to use your computer or your tablet to watch the presentations.
2. Before the meeting, find a few minutes to install Microsoft Teams on your preferred device.
a. If
you are using a Windows or Mac computer or
laptop:

b. or,
if you have an iOS device e.g. Apple, iPad:

c. or,
if you have an Android device e.g. Google, Samsung:

Note: The mobile apps will work on a smartphone as well but you may find it difficult to make out some of the information on the slides on a small screen.
3. On Thursday January 21st, all you should need to do is click the following link to join the meeting.

4. If you don’t have a webcam or microphone on your computer, you will still be able to participate.
Either call in by telephone –
a. Mute your speakers: If you’re watching the presentation on your computer or tablet, turn off its speakers to prevent any audio feedback.
b. Then dial 1-437-703-5266 and enter the Conference ID: 185 875 106#
Note: The conference line is in Toronto. If you don’t have a long-distance plan on your telephone line, please let me know and I can call you when the meeting starts instead.
Or you can type a message during the meeting –
a. The Microsoft teams app has a chat window built in. The PAC Executive will be watching it for any comments from you, so if you have any questions just go ahead and ask; we’ll read it out loud on your behalf!

Bottle Drive
Thank you to everyone who brought bottles to our bottle drive last weekend. It was a busy one and we brought in over $1,800 in bottles! Also, thank you to our volunteers who sorted for hours!
Country Grocer Receipts
We are collecting Country Grocer receipts! Save your receipts and we can submit them to get a percentage in return from Country Grocer. You can send them in with your child to give to their teacher or hand them in at the office.
