REPORT CARD AND PARENT TEACHER COMMUNICATION
As I read through report cards, I recognize the great efforts that students are putting toward their learning. It is wonderful to read about the accomplishments and successes this term. Many of you had the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher(s) last week. Should you have questions regarding your child’s progress, feel free to connect with your teacher(s) at any time of the year. You will be receiving a formal report card Dec 18. Thank you for being partners in your child’s education. We truly value your contributions and home support.
GENEROSITY
PROJECT
A huge thank you to our Prospect Lake Community. We were able to collect and donate almost 1800lbs of food that went to the Mustard Seed (that makes about 1200 +meals) and a large box of warm toques, gloves and socks to Our Place. Thank you to our Saanich Police Liasion, Eric Meisner for organizing the police vehicles and delivering these donations. We did an amazing job filling the police van!
SICKNESS
As we have entered the cold and flu season, we will continue to remind students to wash hands at school. If your child shows symptoms of illness (stomach upset,diarrhea,vomitting, fever), please keep your child home until they are symptom free for 24 hours. This will help keep your child from getting sicker and from spreading illness to others.
LOST AND FOUND Please have a look at the lost and found at the side entrance by the gym. All items remaining will be donated on Dec 20.
