March PAC Meeting
We have a very special guest coming to our next PAC Meeting on Thursday, March 14. Dr. Mark Sherman will speak about Mindful Parenting and Mindful Education between 7:00-9:00. To read more about Dr. Mark Sherman please visit his website at https://livingthismoment.ca/
We will have a short PAC meeting with a few updates from 6:30-7:00 and then Dr. Mark Sherman will take the floor from 7:00-9:00. If you would like to join us please RSVP by email to prospectlakepac@gmail.com by Tuesday, March 12th.
Purdy’s Chocolate Easter Fundraiser
Look in your child's backpack for the Easter Purdy’s order form. This is a great fundraiser for our school. You’ll pay the same price for your online order of Easter chocolates as you would in the store. But this time Purdy’s will give 25% of all the proceeds back to the school. All funds raised go directly to our children. You can invite family members, friends and co-workers to place their orders through us too!

You can order and pay online directly with your credit card. Order deadline is Wednesday April 3, 2019We are aiming for a paper free fundraiser. If you have trouble going online, please contact Holly Raas
Chocolate orders will be ready for pick-up after school on Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16th in the foyer

Grade 5 Pictures
Grade 5 parents, please remember to send in your child’s baby
photos to Michelle for our yearbook. If you have other photos that are of grade
5 kids that would be great too. ie basketball, swim meets, special events from
school or kindy photos.

Interested in helping the PAC?
We’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has helped out with various PAC activities this year. It’s because of your effort that we’re able to offer such amazing activities, resources and create such a warm community for our families. Every little job you do makes a huge difference!
Even though it’s still early in the year we invite you to think about some of the opportunities to help next year. PAC elections aren’t until May but this is a great time to start asking questions if there’s a role you think you’d like to fill. We’re especially looking for someone who would like to organize the hot lunch program for next year - it’s helpful to learn the job the year before for a smooth transition.
