We are just a week away from our Spring Fair, on
The funds from this event will see us through the next
school year, funding things such as Artist in Residence programs, Outdoor
Education, Garden area,
This is an event for everyone in our school community. We want to get to know each other and build a strong sense of community for our children.
Important! Please remember, you must stay and supervise your children for the whole event. No drop offs please. Please remember not to bring pets.
We will need help
with:
· Volunteers to help with a few of the stations, set up and clean up (grandparents, other family members welcome too). You can sign up online at: https://goo.gl/813qSh.
· Baking for the Cake Walk: Do you have a passion for baking or a great idea for a fun cake? Show it off by decorating and donating a cake for the Cake Walk! There will be ribbons for the top cakes in two categories (child decorated and adult decorated). Please drop your cake off on the morning of Thursday, May 17 at the gym.
Raffle Baskets:

Will be displayed beginning Mon May 14 in the
Foyer. Tickets are available for sale before and after school Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs.

Rock Star Parking
auction:
· Rock Star Parking will be auctioned off by bid sheet at the same time. This is a spot reserved for a vehicle from your family for an entire year. No more circling around in order to find a parking spot!
Concession:
· Bring the whole Family to eat! Offering a variety of Burgers, Hot Dogs, chips, candy and more Fair Favorites! There will be some tables and chairs outside or you can bring your own picnic blanket.
Payment:
· All events and concession will only take tickets for payment. Tickets can be purchased during the night of the fair for $1.00 each, at the ticket booth in the foyer or outside at the concession. You can pay cash or by cheque (sorry, no credit cards accepted). Using only tickets at the venues saves us preparing many cash floats. There will be a ticket taker and a bucket at each event. Please deposit your ticket as you enter.
Parking
· Parking will be available at Oldfield’s Save on Gas, the Prospect Lake community hall and the usual places around the school. Please drive slowly and be extra careful and patient on this busy night. If you can, please try carpooling or biking/walking to school.
Garbage/Recycling
· Please make sure you read the signs directing you how to recycle food scraps, compost etc. Let’s keep this as green as possible!
