Flags at district schools are currently at half mast due to the unexpected passing of Chief Andy Thomas, hereditary leader of the Esquimalt Nation for more than 35 years, who died suddenly in Victoria on April 7th, 2018.
Flags will also be flown at half-mast in memory of the victims of the tragic accident near Tisdale, Saskatchewan on Friday, April 6th, 2018.
