PAC Meeting

Last night we had our first PAC meeting of the new year. The minutes of the meeting are posted on our website. You can access them here.

Hot Lunch 

Don’t forget to order your hot lunches - The deadline for Mosi is this coming Tuesday, January 23rd!
We’ve added a plain cheese pizza Pop to our Mosi hot lunch menu.  Even if you’ve already ordered and paid online you can still edit your orders right up until the deadline.

The next three hot lunches are available for ordering: 

-Mosi (homemade pizza pops, soup and gelato!) on February 2 

-Noodle Box and Sushi on March 2 

-Pizza and Sushi on April 6 

Please don’t wait to get your orders in so your children don’t miss out. We are unable to take any late orders. 

Place your order now on our hot lunch site https://ples.hotlunches.net. If you want to save money and time, you can order all three lunches at once.  

We are in need of a few volunteers to help us distribute the lunches to the classes. If you are able to help, please check the volunteer box. We really appreciate your help! 

If you don't have access to a computer, you can pick up a paper order form from Mrs Blackwell at the front desk. 

Red Barn Cards    

You can order your January Barn Bucks online until January 25th. Please place your order at https://ples.hotlunches.net.  For every $50 card that is purchased Red Barn donates 5 dollars back to the school. 

The PAC thanks everyone who has already supported our school and got their orders in. We are especially grateful to those of you who sent your orders in online. This makes it so much easier for us to process the orders without anything being lost or misplaced. Thank you!   

Open House ROMS for Grade 5's: Royal Oak Middle School will host an Open House on Thursday, Feb 1st from 6:30-8:00 pm. All Grade 5 students and their families are welcome.

Early Bird Registration is Now Open for 2018 Vancouver Island Parent Conference: This event will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Royal Bay Secondary school. Conference speakers will challenge our traditional view of education. Presented by the District Parents' Advisory Councils of Greater Victoria, Sooke & Cowichan Valley. Early bird rate: $75 if registered by Feb 2^nd. http://vipc.ca/. If you have any questions, please email <span class="normaltextrun">. Saanich Parents who attend may have some of their cost covered.  

The winning school must have a minimum of 20 students registered. Registration closes March 26th, 2018. All levels are welcome. For more info about the festival and student registration visit http://www.worldcups.ca/ .
