Halloween Howl Dance

We are a little over a week away from our school’s Halloween dance on Friday, October 27th from 5:30 pm until 8 pm. A huge Thank You to all the wonderful people who have already volunteered to help make this a fun event for our whole school community!

We are still in need of helpers so if you haven’t yet signed up please visit: https://goo.gl/3QKrBM . Most shifts are only 30 minutes long but you can sign up for more than one task if you are available. We appreciate your help!

School Travel Safety Survey

Prospect Lake Elementary is participating in the District of Saanich's Active and Safe Routes to School 2017-2018 program. The program provides tools for students to walk, cycle, or otherwise use active transportation for the school journey wherever possible.

If you haven't done so already, please take some time to fill out the only survey on this page prospectlake.metroquest.ca. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and will only be available until October 27. One survey per family is all that’s required.

If you have any questions about the survey or the Active and Safe Routes to School program, contact Kate Berniaz, Active Transportation Program Manager, at kberniaz@crd.bc.ca.

Purdy's Christmas Fundraiser

It’s Purdy’s time again! This is a great fundraiser for our school. Purdy's gives 25 percent of all the sales back to our school. All funds raised go directly to our children. You can invite family members, friends and co-workers to place their orders through us too! Look for the order form in your child’s backpack.

Red Barn Cards

You can still place your October Red Barn cards order until October 25th. For every 10 Red Barn Cards we purchase, the school gets one for free. You can place your order at https://ples.hotlunches.net

COPACS Survey

Are you a parent of a special needs child?  BCCPAC would like to hear from you if you have had any challenges at the beginning of this school year.  For further information please click here:

Goldstream Field Trip

During our school wide Goldstream field trip on October 31st the PAC will provide each student with a hot dog and a hot chocolate free of charge.  We suggest you still send your child with additional snacks to supplement this lunch if necessary.

There is no need to order this standard meal. But if your child has an allergy and requires a dietary alternative you will find other options on the hot lunch site.

If you are able to help prepare and distribute lunch that day please sign up through  https://ples.hotlunches.net . It’s a great way to meet other parents and spend time with the kids in the great outdoors!

If you have any feedback or questions, please email your PAC at prospectlakepac@sd63.bc.ca .
