JUNE EVENTS

Indigenous Celebration Day: June 15 – all day

Prospect students will be involved in an Indigenous Celebration Day on June 15. Working with guests from our First Nations and our staff, children will spend the day experiencing a wide variety of cultural activities.

Beach Day: June 23 – all day

Prospect's annual Beach Day will take place on June 23. All students will be bussed to Cordova Bay Beach for a day of fun. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather with a hat, sunscreen, and a t-shirt. Children will be allowed to wade in the ocean and play in the sand with their friends. Lifeguards will be on duty. PAC will provide a hot dog, bag of chips and watermelon for each child. However, a snack and lunch to supplement this is a good idea. Please let your child's teacher know if you DO NOT want your child to have the PAC lunch.

Farewell Assembly: June 28 @ 12:30

The assembly to bid farewell to our grade five students and departing staff will take place on June 28 at 12:30 in Prospect's gym.

Pancake Breakfast: June 29 @ 8:30

We will begin the last day of school with our traditional pancake breakfast. Staff will provide the pancakes and condiments while parents are invited to bring such things as fruit, bacon, juice........ for our buffet tables. Parents are also asked to bring cups, plates, and utensils for themselves and their children.
