Help Needed: Bottle Drive, Country Grocer and Cob's Bread

Hello Prospect Lake Families,

A few reminders as we enjoy the summer days.

  • Bottle Drive: Saturday, September 13 from 10 am – 1 pm. The Grade 5 kids and their families will be hosting a bottle drive at Royal Oak Automotive, 4508 West Saanich Rd. Our thanks to Royal Oak  Automotive for allowing us to use their space. The proceeds will help with costs for the Grade 5, Camp Thunderbird trip in June.  We would like to ask ALL families and staff to help us by gathering as many bottles, cans, juice boxes, etc. Your help in making this a successful bottle drive for our Grade 5 kids would be very greatly appreciated.
  •  Keep on saving those bottles and cans! Even after the bottle drive, if you would like to keep supporting the Grade 5 kids in their efforts, please consider donating your bottles at the Bottle Depots on Glanford or Quadra. Please let the Bottle Depot staff know proceeds are for Prospect Lake Elementary School, BEFORE they start counting.
  • Cobs Bakery: Please mention Prospect Lake Elementary at time of purchase. We receive a percentage of all sales.
  • Canadian Tire money & Country Grocer receipts: Send these in with your child, or drop at the office. Each teacher has a bag or box in their room. Last year Country Grocer receipts earned our school $2800!
