Thanks to everyone who made our Halloween Howl such an amazingly fun, family event.  We raised close to $500 with the admission and glow sticks, and the Grade 5’s raised close to $800 at the concession. Staff: Mr. Guiguet and Mrs. Blackwell for encouraging this event and providing much support, along with coordination with the school district for set up of lights. School Janitor Mike who put up with all of us there until so late. Our teachers who helped with decorations, song voting and dance countdown cards. Extra special thanks to Ms. Morris and Ms. Burns who joined us at the dance. 

Families:  All of you who brought your kids along to celebrate together and who helped in so many ways.

- Jon Waters, Chris & Terry Fenwick, Estelle Aitken, Dan Murray, Debby Branson, Kim Gaskill - for staffing the door prize and glow stick table.

- DJ Carrot Top for great music all night long.

- Alicia Pine and Stef Hutchison for decorating.

-Roland Tscheinig and Jim Hutchison for photography.

-James Taylor for making the shadow frame.

-Shannon Eastman for limbo pole and break dance mat.

-Vanessa Kriberg for table signs.

-Clean Up crew who stayed late and worked so hard.

-Kids who spent Pro- D day at school decorating the gym and setting up.

-Grey Showler, Angela Garnett, Chris Sitter,  Jennifer & Mike Putland, Carrie McDonell, Shannon Eastman, Shelley Hammell, Vanessa Kriberg, Nan Marshall, Alicia Pine, Corrina Flora, Terra Tremblay for coaching at the break dance mat and at the shadow frame.

Grade Five Families: Wow, do you know how to bake and run a yummy concession! Thanks to the volunteers that helped out to run the concession. Sarah Ommundsen, Lauren MacInnis, Christine Fenwick, Sally Freeman, Beth Taggart, Shelley Hamel, Karen Spall, Duncan Thomas, Colleen Piercy, Dorothy Ogurek, Alejandra Montenegro, Laurel Nash, Dorothee Tilly, Angela Slydell, Nan Marshall, Becky Furtado (and little Luke too!) Dorothy Ogurek , for loaning her BBQ and for her popcorn making skills. The BBQ Men: Mark deMedeiros, Adrian Macinnis, and Juan-Carlos Villegas.

Very importantly, warm thanks to Christine Carrigan, Dora deMedeiros, Andrea Sage and their families for putting so much thought, time and effort into this event.  We hoped we’ve thanked you all by name. Our sincere apologies if we missed you.

So, when is the next dance and who’s organizing that one?
