NHL 2019-2020 Hockey Pool Fundraiser

The Prospect Lake PAC has organized a hockey pool fundraiser. The entries are open to anybody and are $20 per entry, no limit to number of entries per person (separate entries require separate usernames). The pot will be split with 50% for the PAC, 40% going to the winner, and 10% to the runner up. The totals will be calculated on April 5th 2020 on completion of the regular season and the winners will be contacted. Any ties will result in a split pot.  

We are hoping to sell 30 entries so the estimated prize for first place is $240 and the estimated prize for the runner up is $60.

The pool is a box style that makes selecting players very easy, even for casual hockey fans. There are 21 boxes/groups, each box contains five players, each of those five players are projected to score a similar amount of points. Simply select the player from each box who you believe will score the most points during the regular season. There are no trades or moves after the entry deadline passes. The website updates scores daily at 2:30 am. 

To enter your picks go to hockeydraft.ca. To sign in, the pool name is ProspectLakePool and the password is PACpool.  Once you log into the pool, go to the Entry Form tab.  Enter a user name (to be displayed in the pool standings), your email and password, then select your picks and submit. You can start entering your picks on Monday September 16th. The deadline for entering the picks through the website will be 11:59PM October 1st.

The box sheet can be viewed HERE, however entries are best done through hockeydraft.ca . If you would like to enter a paper form instead of entering online, please complete the box sheet below or pick one up from the school office and return it to the PAC box outside the school office no later than 3:00PM October 1st. Late entries cannot be accepted.

Payments can be made by cash or cheque (made out to PLES PAC) or online through the Hot Lunch program (starting September 16th). Cash and cheques can be deposited in the PAC box outside the school office. Please include your name and the name of the fundraiser if using the PAC box. The deadline for receiving payment is 3:00PM October 1st. Late payments cannot be accepted.
