Our Spring Fair is Tomorrow!!!
by Prospect Lake PAC - Wednesday, 16 May 2018, 5:19 PM

We are just one day away from our Spring Fair, tomorrow, May 17 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We hope you will join us for lots of fun – Dunk Tank, Games2u Victoria activities, Concession, Cake Walk, Raffle Baskets and more! We will need the help of our whole school community to make this a wonderful night for all our children.

The funds from this event will see us through the next school year, funding things such as Artist in Residence programs, Outdoor Education, Garden area, field trips and more.

This is an event for everyone in our school community. We want to get to know each other and build a strong sense of community for our children.

Important! Please remember, you must stay and supervise your children for the whole event. No drop offs please. Also remember to keep your pets at home.

We still have a few volunteer spots open.  If you are able to help, you can sign up online at: https://goo.gl/813qSh. Thank you to those of you who have already volunteered!

If you are baking a cake for the Cake Walk, please drop it off tomorrow morning at the gym.

Raffle Baskets:

Raffle tickets (with name and phone number on them) will be 1 for 2 dollars; 3 for 5 dollars; 7 for 10 dollars; 15 for 20 dollars. There will be a bucket at each basket for your tickets.

Rock Star Parking auction:

Rock Star Parking will be auctioned off by bid sheet at the same time. This is a spot reserved for a vehicle from your family for an entire year. No more circling around in order to find a parking spot!

Concession:

Have your family dinner at the fair! We’ll be offering a variety of Burgers, Hot Dogs, chips, candy and more Fair Favorites! There will be some tables and chairs outside or you can bring your own picnic blanket.

Payment:

All events and concession will only take tickets for payment. Tickets can be purchased during the night of the fair for $1.00 each, at the ticket booth in the foyer or outside at the concession.

You can pay cash or by cheque (sorry, no credit cards accepted).

Parking

Parking will be available at Oldfield’s Save on Gas, the Prospect Lake community hall and the usual places around the school. Please drive slowly and be extra careful and patient on this busy night. If you can, please try carpooling or biking/walking to school.

Garbage/Recycling

Please make sure you read the signs directing you how to recycle food scraps, compost etc. Let’s keep this as green as possible!

Thank you everyone! Questions: prospectlakepac@sd63.bc.ca
