Bake a cake for the Cake Walk

Do you have a passion for baking or a great idea for a fun cake? Show it off by decorating and donating a cake for the Cake Walk. There will be ribbons for the top cakes in two categories (child decorated and adult decorated). Fill in the registration form (you can click here to download the form and print or pick one up from Mrs. Blackwell)  and attach to the cake (name on back). And bring to the gym on the morning of Thursday, May 17th for judging.

Extra Hot Lunch on May 25

The PAC will offer an extra hot lunch on the Watershed whole school field trip, Friday May 25th. More information about the field you can find in the May update of our principle Mrs Ko. You can order your Subway sandwiches now online at https://ples.hotlunches.net or pick up a paper order form at Mrs Blackwell’s desk

PAC Executive Elections for 2018/2019 School Year

Prospect Lake Elementary Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Executive Nominations are now open!

Elections will be held at the May, PAC Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the school library. You must attend in person to vote (no proxy voting) and nominations may be received at the meeting.

If you are interested in running for a position, wish to nominate someone (please get their permission first) or have any questions, please contact the Chair of the Nominating Committee, Jenny Eastman at prospectlakepac@sd63.bc.ca .

All positions are open for election each year. You can look here (insert link) for descriptions of each position. Please feel free to ask questions about the various positions.

It is very important that we get new parents to carry on the PAC Executive roles. Some positions require more involvement and time than others, but most require just 3 to 4 hours a month, and can be job-shared. Come help out – we need you.
