PAC Meeting

On Tuesday, April 17 we will have some interesting guests at our monthly PAC-meeting. Click here for the agenda. Carly Hunter, the Principal of Royal Oak Middle school, will be there to answer all of your questions about the transition into middle school. Especially interesting for Grade 5 parents.

We also have Kate Berniaz, the Transportation Program Manager from the CRD, with an update on the safe to school routes. Click Here to view the summary about the walkabout.

Doors open at 6.45 pm for coffee and treats and we will have Childminding available. Please let us know if you are planning to bring your child(ren).

Staff Appreciation Lunch

We still have lots of open spots for food loving parents and guardians to prepare a yummie dish for our staff appreciation "Around the world" lunch on Friday, April 27. Please consider donating your favorite “international” dish for this potluck-lunch to thank the Prospect Lake Staff for all the great work they have done this year. You can sign up with Perfect Potluck here: https://www.PerfectPotluck.com/UZDJ9624

Please include a note with your dish that includes your name, the name and origin of the dish, the main ingredients or allergens and any instructions about warming or serving. Please aim to make a dish that will feed approximately 8 people.

It would be great if all children can bring a flower (from your yard is fine) to the school in the morning, so we can arrange some bouquets for the teachers and staff.

Please drop your contributions off at the entrance/kitchen/gym in the morning, but no later than 11.00 am. Thank you for supporting the staff at Prospect Lake.

Hot Lunch order for May and June

You can now order your last hot lunch menus of this year. We will serve White Spot on May 11 (deadline May 1st) and Mosi’s Gelato on June 8. Order online at https://ples.hotlunches.net or pick up a paper order form at Mrs Blackwell’s desk. Please consider volunteering to help hand out lunches - it’s lots of fun and much appreciated.

Raffle baskets at the Spring Fair

As part of ourSpring FaironThursday, May 17, 2018, the PAC will be displaying a variety ofRaffle Basketsfor you to win! However, we appreciate any donation to any basket that works for you. Below is what were collecting for and which classroom has that donation box. Please think about what you can contribute over Spring break and bring your itemtothe boxes in the classroom beginning of April.

The raffle baskets will be displayed in the school foyer the week leading up to the Spring Fair. Tickets will be sold during the Spring Fair and Baskets will be raffled at the end of the evening on May 17. Please contact your PAC if you’ve got any questions.

Used Book sale

The library is collecting gently used children’s books for the Spring Used Book Sale on Tuesday April 24th. If you wish to donate any used children's books, please drop them off in the box outside the library or give to Mrs. Bourdon or Ms. Gaudet. This will be a fundraiser for our School Library that the children will help organize. We thank you for your support!
