PAC Meeting

A happy New Year to all of you! We hope your kids were happy to be back at school and will soon be back into their routines. We have an exciting second part of the school year coming up with the Spring Fair on Thursday May 17^th. We will talk a bit about that on our next PAC meeting on Thursday January 18^th, at 7 pm in the library. The door will be open for tea and treats at 6.45 pm. Hope to see you there.

Hot Lunch

The next three hot lunches are available for ordering!  We will be featuring:

-Mosi (homemade pizza pops, soup and gelato!) on February 2

-Noodle Box and Sushi on March 2

-Pizza and Sushi on April 6

The ordering deadline for the first lunch is January 23 so please don’t wait to get your orders in so your children don’t miss out. We are unable to take any late orders.

Please place your order now on our hot lunch site https://ples.hotlunches.net. If you want to save money and time, you can order all three lunches at once.

We are in need of a few volunteers to help us distribute the lunches to the classes. If you are able to help please check the volunteer box. We really appreciate your help!

If you don't have access to a computer, you can pick up a paper order form from Mrs Blackwell at the front desk.

Red Barn Cards  

You can order your January Barn Bucks online until January 25th. Please place your order at https://ples.hotlunches.net.  For every $50 card that is purchased Red Barn donates 5 dollars back to the school.

The PAC thanks everyone who has already supported our school and got their orders in. We are especially grateful to those of you who sent your orders in online. This makes it so much easier for us to process the orders without anything being lost or misplaced. Thank you!  

Early Bird Registration is Now Open for 2018 Vancouver Island Parent Conference

This event will take place on Saturday March 3, 2018 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Royal Bay Secondary school. Conference speakers will challenge our traditional view of education. Presented by the District Parents' Advisory Councils of Greater Victoria, Sooke & Cowichan Valley. Early bird rate: $75 if registered by Feb 2^nd. http://vipc.ca/.
