Fundraisers

Do your Holiday Shopping without leaving your home! We have a couple of very interesting fundraisers going on this month, so don’t forget to order your Art Cards, Chocolates or Red Barn Cards this month. All proceeds help enhance our children's educational experience at Prospect Lake. 

Order your child’s Art Cards! 

All the classes are now busy working on art projects for our winter Art Card Fundraiser. PAC volunteers will take a photo of your child’s art and make it into 5 x 7 cards. These high quality cards will be sold as packages of six, including envelopes. They make great Christmas cards! You can place your order at https://ples.hotlunches.net. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can pick up a paper order form at Ms Blackwell’s desk. Order deadline will be November 17th. 

Purdy's Christmas   

Who doesn’t love a box of chocolates for the holidays? If you haven't had a chance to look at all the yummie Christmas chocolates yet, please do. This is a great fundraiser for our school since 25 per cent of all the proceeds go back to our school. Order deadline is November 26th. You may go to http://purdysgpp.com/ and register.

Red Barn Cards  

You can still order your November Barn Bucks until Nov 25th. You can place your order at https://ples.hotlunches.net.  

The PAC thanks everyone who has already supported our school and got their orders in. We are especially grateful to those of you who sent your orders in online. This makes it so much easier for us to process the orders without anything being lost or misplaced. Thank you!

X-mas Book Fair

The Prospect Lake School Library is having our annual Book Fair! This is an important fundraiser for our library and it engages the students by getting them excited about books and reading. You can send your child to school so they can purchase their own books, or you can come in yourself and check out our book fair on Thursday, November 30th from 8:10t o 9:00 AM and 2:45 to 4:00 PM and on Friday, December 1 from 8:10 to 9:00 AM and 2:45 to 4:00 PM.. 

Special parent night!!

This year we have a special Book Fair Child Free Holiday Shopping Event for Parents Only! There will be coffee, tea and treats as you shop. Please come and join us, Thursday, November 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm!

November PAC meeting 

Please join us on Tuesday November 21st from 6.45 pm in the library for another important meeting as we continue our discussion and final voting on the topic of purchasing additional iPads for the school. We will also discuss earthquake preparedness.
