Prospect Lake School Spring Fair!

Friday, May 26 at 5:00 – 8:00pm

 

Hello Prospect Lake Families,

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated and offered to work together on the event. This will be an evening of fun for all our children and our biggest fundraiser of the year – all funds raised go to your kids and your school!   This notice provides all the information you need to have an evening of family and community fun.  Questions? prospectlakepac@sd63.bc.ca



Important!

- Please remember, you must stay and supervise your children for the whole event.  No drop-offs please.

- The Silent Auction is now open in the foyer. More items will appear each day this week. It’s not too late to donate in case you forgot!

 Payment and Shopping

·      - All events, concession and toy sale will only take tickets for payment. Tickets can be purchased for $1 each, at the ticket booth in the foyer, starting at 4:30 PM on Friday.

·      - There will be a ticket taker at each event, deposit your ticket as you enter.

·      - For all payments, cash, cheque, or credit card all accepted. Cash or cheque will be fastest and allow us to avoid the 2% service charge we have to pay on credit card transactions.

Parking

·      - Parking will be available at the usual places around the school. Please drive slowly and be extra careful on this busy night.

 

Concession

·      - Smokies $4, burgers $4-$7 (including bacon jam and/or cheese add-ons), hot dogs $3, chips & cheezies $1, watermelon $1, fresh baked donuts from the Sidney Bakery $1, candy bags $1 and beverages $1.

 

Cake Walk

·      - Cakes to be delivered to the gym on the morning of Friday, May 26 if you want to be part of the cake contest. Remember to include your submission form and NO NUTS please.

·      - Cake Walk entry is from outside of Mrs. Gladwin’s room. Please exit into the foyer. One way traffic only please!

 

Silent Auction:

·      - The Silent Auction is now open with new items appearing each day. It will close at 8 pm on Friday and all items must be paid for before being removed.

·      - Volunteers will note the winner for each item and winners will take the bid sheet to the cashier. Once paid, winners can claim their item.

·      - Bid early, bid often, bid high – it’s all for our kids!

 

Garbage/Recycling

- The marvellous PAC Pops will be doing set up and clean up for the fair. Please lend a hand if you can. You’ll spot them in their bright pink shirts.

- Please make sure you read the signs directing you how to recycle food scraps, compost etc. Let’s keep this as green as possible!

 

Remember to bring:

·      - A way to pay for your purchases and something to keep them in.

·      - Blanket to sit on in the field.
